Welcome to Sheep Hollow Farm and Fiber, home to Jeff and Julie Owens, Blueberry the dog, Kitty Blanche the cat, assorted sheep and other farm animals. Our forty acre farm is located in the foothills of Mount Hood, thirty miles southeast of Portland, Oregon.

The quarter mile long driveway leads visitors to Sheep Hollow through a recently established nut orchard and several sheep pastures before approaching the house. Our home is quite unique in that it is earth-sheltered (dug into a hillside, partially underground, with a covering of 2' of soil on the roof. It is also a solar home and at times we can live off the grid with the exception of our well.

In addition to our farm animals, we raise many of our food crops. These include a number of unusual fruits and vegetables ... goumi, saskatoons, kiwis, Asian pears, shipova, paw paw, aronia, and stevia, just to name a few.
